Tapestry
A tapestry is a unique form of textile art, created by hand-weaving threads to build intricate patterns or images. Historically, tapestries adorned the walls of castles and homes, serving both decorative and practical purposes such as insulation. Today, they are celebrated by artists, designers, and museums alike for their texture, history, and visual impact.
Using traditional hand-weaving techniques, I carefully pack horizontal (weft) threads over vertical (warp) threads to create the visible design. This meticulous process produces a rich, tactile artwork that adds warmth, personality, and a distinctive focal point to any space. Whether displayed in a contemporary or classic interior, a hand-woven tapestry offers a sophisticated alternative to traditional wall art, connecting modern spaces with the timeless beauty of the past.
